Coles Kensington

Around 5:30pm, two of my friends were accused of stealing with absolutely no evidence that they had. The lack of unprofessionalism performed by the staff was shocking for me to hear. The situation started when my friend brought groceries from home (which in itself, is strange, but she had simply just been over preparing to go to a friends house for the night). A middle aged female staff member, with blonde hair stopped my friend who needed help with clearing the bagging error and questioned her about the contents in her bag. My friend proceeded to explain, but was met back with attitude and a look of disgust. After a few minutes of arguing back and fourth, management finally stepped in and let them off. What I simply want to know is… why was no security camera footage checked? The groceries were not even from Coles and some not sold by coles at all. It was a complete waste of time for both parties and could’ve been completely avoided. Props to management though for just letting it slide. Wish there was an apology for them though :)

I have scored only 2 stars due to the lack of staff on checkouts. They now have around 10 small self-service and 2 or 4 conveyor self-service checkouts. It's such a shame to see no human interaction at the checkouts anymore. I had to queue at the far end checkout to be served by a staff member. People need to stop using self-service checkouts as, ultimately, it is Peoples jobs disappearing.

Click and collect APPALLING! This was the first time I had used this system. Having been notified a few minutes before my pick up time that my goods were ready. I was instructed to press " I'm on my way" and when getting to the pick up point instructed to press. " I'm here". I thought this very impressive. I waited and waited. Other vehicles had pulled up collected their goods while l waited and waited and waited. All the while with the motor running for the A/C, what a waste of fuel. Eventually my goods came nearly half an hour later. What a waste of time, I thought this was supposed to be a quick option for shopping, what a joke. I certainly will not be using this awful service again.

Today is 21 Oct 2023 - at 11:33 Coles 130 Takalvan St car park The coles customer service name Trude - use some inappropriate words with me when I just come to ask please to get a trolley in the trolley rail, she throws her rope in floor in front of me and use inappropriate words with me, because it is stuck in the wheel of trolley so I just want to help her pick up the rope and she shows me attitude and want me to leave it She uses some words again With other customers especially western people in front of me she did show her attitude, she knows how to use “thank you” and “please” word I feel ashamed for her if she is Australian and born here Even the core value of the country she doesn’t know it. I don’t know how many Asian got treat like that if I don’t speak up Racism If has 0 star or minor Star I will put it Coles should show the staff how to respect customer Don’t let only her get all of the staffs being put down the performance, they do very good job, even the younger staff. “If you don’t like your job, quit it, don’t do it, if you choose to do it - do it professionally”
